The London Lions had a tough 2nd round campaign in the FIBA Europe Cup, which came to an end last night following their victory over Danish side, Bakken Bears.
Their campaign started off with a flawless 3-0 first round with convincing wins in all three games. Unfortunately, the second round was a different story as they came up against much tougher competition and finished with a 1-5 record, 3rd out of 4 in their group.
Last nights win did see them add some more history to what has already been an incredible season for the Lions franchise, as they became the first British side to win in the 2nd round of the FIBA Europe Cup tournament.

As well as that, an individual accomplishment is also worth mentioning, as point guard Isaiah Reese finished with 13pts, 10 rebounds and 11 assists making him just the 5th player ever in FIBA Europe Cup history to achieve a triple double.

Whilst their European campaign ends, the Lions will continue to look forward to domestic competition, with plenty of BBL fixtures still remaining.
