The Caledonia Gladiators are doubling up on their involvement in European Competition, building on what was a historic 2023-2024 season, with the club confirming their women's team for the 2024-2025 EuroCup Regular Season. The men were recently confirmed for the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers, giving them the opportunity to take part in one of Europe's top club competitions in the world. The women will also be doing the same, with the EuroCup also being one of the best European club competitions behind only the Euroleague.
It will be the second consecutive year for the Gladiators' women in the EuroCup following a season which saw them advance all the way to the playoffs for the first time ever in club history, with an impressive 3-1 record before falling to NKA Universitas Pecs in the first round.
At the moment, the Gladiators' women are not only the sole British women's team to be competing in any form of European competition, but they are also the only team across both men and women to be competing in the EuroCup next season.
