The British Basketball League are looking to build on the success of a record breaking 2021/2022 season with the 'Know Our Name' Campaign, an initiative being used to celebrate the high level of talent, ever-growing culture and excitement that is now around the league.
Headed up by Joe Edwards, the BBL's new Head Of Marketing, the campaign uses many familiar faces from the BBL as well as narration to create a 'hype-up' style video, building some anticipation for this season which tips-off this Friday.
'This is the first step in delivering on the ambition the British Basketball League has over the coming years,' Joe Edwards told Hoopsfix. 'With all the develppment across the leagues and the clubs i'm looking forward to an amazing 22/23 season.'
With the league receiving a £7 Million investment and undergoing a new rule that has removed team payment caps, it seems like the time for this campaign couldn't be any better as the league continues to make progressive steps towards creating a league that the British Basketball League have envisioned for it to be.
A big part of this campaign will be the exposure. All men's game will be shown on the BBL Youtube Channel, the BBL Player and also on Sky Sports giving many people the chance to see what the game of basketball in the UK is all about.
