The GB Men are ready to begin their FIBA EuroBasket 2022 campaign this weekend in Milan, with hopes and expectations of a historic run.
The EuroBasket is one of the premier international basketball competitions which features some of the world's best basketball countries battling it out to claim the EuroBasket title. Top countries such as Spain, France, Turkey and more are regulars in this competition, with players that play at the highest level of basketball in the world including in the NBA. Some notable names to mention are Rudy Gobert (France), Evan Fournier (France), Luka Doncic (Slovenia), Giannis Antentokounmpo (Greece) and Nikola Jokic (Serbia). With all those names being said, team GBs involvement amongst this elite crowd is a big deal.

In spite of that however, no broadcasting deals were made to show the men's journey throughout the competition, highlighting a problem that many British Basketball fans aren't unfamiliar to: a lack of media coverage for one of the most popular team sports in the UK.
Thankfully, FIBA and the premier streaming site for EuroBasket games, Courtside 1891, will be providing Team GB's first game against Ukraine online for free. All that will be required is a sign up to the Courtside 1891 website where you'll be able to see all the action live as it happens.
As for the rest of the tournament, this won't be the case. Courtside will still be showcasing all the games but of course, you'll have to spend a little bit. Their Annual Pass for £24.99 gives you access to the EuroBasket 2022, the FIBA Women's World Cup 2022 and the 5th Window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. The other option is the £18.99 EuroBasket pass which gives you access to all EuroBasket games. To sign up so you're ready for Friday, click here.
