Team GB Prepare For FIBA World Cup Qualifiers

The 24-man roster for Team GB's FIBA World Cup Qualifiers was announced and preparation for the upcoming fixtures is already underway.

The roster includes Amin Adamu who spent this past season at Montana State, Jaden Delaire (Stanford) and Amari Williams (Drexel University) who will all receive their first GB Caps at the ages of 24, 21 and 20 years old. The 24-man roster also includes a lot of international experience including the likes of Myles Hesson, Daniel Clark, Jamell Anderson and Luke Nelson to name a few.

Although second round qualification is already secured for Team GB who are on a great run winning 12 of their last 15 games dating back to the 2018-2019 season, these upcoming games against Greece and Turkey will still be important. Wins here will not only provide them with great momentum going further on into the FIBA World Cup, but will also be pretty big statement wins as these two teams are considered to be powerhouses in regards to International Basketball.

Team GB's first game will be away in Larissa against Greece will be on Thursday 30th June at 6PM. Their second game will be in Newcastle where they will take on Turkey at 4PM on the 3rd of July.

Currently the only place that has been announced to be showing both the games is Courtside1891. Keep your eyes peeled for potentially more info on where you can stream the games live.
