The Manchester Giants took the victory over the London Lions in a surprising fashion, beating the BBL Trophy finalists by 38 points, 94 - 56.
The game was close to start with. By the end of the first quarter, only a point would separate the two sides which is what many would have expected throughout the game.
The 2nd quarter saw MCR blow the game wide open, with the lead ballooning up to 18 points by halftime.
A 29-10 second quarter for the @McrGiants gives them a commanding lead going into the second half against @LondonLions.
