Basketball England have announced their rosters for the first-ever Tri-Nations Masters tournament set to take place this summer.
The competition is a part of G Maxibasketball –– a masters basketball performance programme –– and a collaboration between Basketball England, Basketball Scotland and Basketball Wales. It will showcase the longevity of the talent pathway from Under 14s to over 35s.
Both the men's and women's rosters are filled with a bunch of talent, with plenty of domestic titles amongst them as well as plenty of caps with Great Britain and England. Many of the fielded players are also competing at high levels, including NBL and WNBL D1.
"Most of the players here are still playing at a high-level and winning domestic silverware - and in some cases, internationally recognised Gold medals," said GB Maxibasketball Programme Director, Sadie Mason MBE.
"What's more, the intergenerational nature of this Tri-Nations Tournament, means that junior England players can see that there is longevity in playing basketball and will have a raft of role models to up to and expertise to draw on."
Team England's first games take place against Scotland on June 1st at 6PM GMT. Take a look below for the full rosters.
